I am really very low-tech when it comes to telephones. In fact, I have never owned a cell phone. What I do have is Internet telephone service using MagicJack. It has been cheap at under $40.00 per year, with good sound quality, and good reliability. But the phone service goes down if the Internet connection or the electrical power goes down. (Then I have to rely on my wife's cell phone. 8-)
