If God is omnipotent, why he allows suffering in the world.
Having all power, God has the power to allow suffering in the world.
And that makes him... evil!
No different than a tyrant, someone like, say, Fidel Castro.
Fidel Castro is reported to be not dead.
In respect of God the opposite is true.
Last time we heard of God, he was giving commands to the Jewish nation. That was some 3 thousand years ago. Maybe some day people will doubt there was ever a Fidel Castro. ;)

Oh, no no, we would have historical documents to prove it.

I have a theory of why God showed himself only to the shepherds of all people. Shepherds spend the whole time alone and they imagine voices in order not to go crazy. It's a necessity of life among the sheep. Could that be why sheep occupy a prominent role in their stories?

Pity this happened way before even shepherds used cell phone with cameras and recorders. Where is God now? Yes, yes, he shows himself to the lunatics now. He's much harder to catch. Of course, this is only a theory of mine.

Ideas are invisible but powerful, perhaps the product of a hot sun.

when you stand all day in the HEAT under the sun
looking after sheep ,
your brain gets heated up and hot
and your brain makes you hear things because
of the heat inside your brain .
That's why I wear a hat when I'm out. You must stay cool even under the sun. When you are under a tree God disappears.

God is a product of the Middle Eastern sun.

I made one... the Banana Goddess, most powerful goddess since she's mother nature.

She can send a cat 5 hurricane and wipe out the corrupt real industry challenging climate change. It will happen in Miami Beach. All the money in the world won't be able to keep it afloat.
