What about the pedestrians?

Hate speech against cyclists is very common. Of course, drivers know they are real competition to the polluting car. What about the pedestrians? They are too dumb to be hated.
That was my original point: an animal is worth more than a cyclist. Then again, this is a holy ass. 😢
Scarcity value? Cyclists are a daily pain in the ass. Asses are a rare sight.
Aren't pedestrians a similar pain in the ass? They are as pitiful as Jesus on the donkey.

Around here they are zombies. They never see the bicycle behind them. And they never took advantage of the wheel, man's greatest invention. I wonder if Jesus would go far with his sandals. He could have grabbed a camel but chose a painfully slow donkey.

The Wise Man keeps going slowly. Einstein said, "Life's is like a bicycle. Keep going, not to fall." Well, cyclists and pedestrians are the same people. We are just a little smarter.

Everyone's a pedestrian at times, even in the States.
Only from the car to Walmart. That's why obesity is so prevalent. I push myself to walk under the heat, but it ain't easy.

America is most unfriendly to pedestrians, except NYC.

Like I said before, I push myself into the heat and dysfunctional sidewalks. One of my trips takes me through these two very different scenarios:

While walking today at midday, I heard a roar and it was two cars street racing before an awed public. I guess some speed cameras would come handy.

The life of the pedestrians is terribly sad. I think they throw themselves before the cars, not unlike the early Christians who threw themselves to the lions to entertain the Romans. I mean, what's the point of life if you are treated like dirt?

A bicycle, by contrast, makes it fun and easy. All those baskets and panniers can be full of that cargo from the supermarket. And, unlike walking, biking is cool and comfortable. The problem with the pedestrians is that they are really dumb or are afraid of traffic.

I leave it to the city planners to figure that out. We should look in retrospective who were the great walkers in history, such as Jesus. I heard this great piece of wisdom somewhere, "Flip flop until you drop."
