God Does Not Exist.
True or False?
What is a god? [THIS APPEARS TO BE GOOD, BUT IT ISN'T.]
The statement is, "God Does Not Exist." is it True or False?
All you have to do is anser True or False.
I have to agree with Virgil.
There's a 50% chance that Schrödinger agrees with you.
I think you'd better ask Heisenberg.
Overly. Now pardon me whilst I go have an existential crisis.
_I think_ Descartes could help you with that...

This is all complete academic rubbish, of course. If you state the following proposition of ordinary discourse, "God does not exist.", then, by referring to God, you declare the existence of God, or at least something called God. Then you proceed to state that God, who exists, does not exist. You do see the difficulty, don't you?

You simply cannot say that anything does not exist. Rational statements can only discuss things that exist. The empty set has no members. In order to discuss God, you must first declare that God exists. You may then make statements about God. But you may not say that God does not exist.

If I want to play it safe, I wouldn't say "god doesn't exist." I would say "god doesn't make sense."

Am I making sense?

Yes, well done. Your statement is, in essence, two propositions in conjunction, i.e., God exists and He doesn't make sense. You seem to concern yourself with God and Christianity, so perhaps you are a Christian theologian.
