Why shoot a lion when you can catch him with a banana?

Well, you appeal to the natural curiosity of animals. The lion goes, "Hey, what's that?" All animals have this natural curiosity to explore their surroundings and try new things. Not the Christians, of course. There's something about the Bible that kills the natural curiosity in man.

And why would you want to catch a lion anyway? Is your life in danger or are you trying affirm your masculinity? Curiously the lion figures prominently in the Biblical mythology. The lion will sit next to the lamb.

Yeah, right. ;)

NOTE: The banana always catches the attention of monkeys, thus the title of this thread. Yes, I appealed to your natural curiosity.

I don't know about catching a lion with a banana. Our dog certainly
doesn't like them (despite some places saying bananas are good for
dogs). It will happily sniff the banana in its wrapped state, but if
you offer it the peeled the banana, the dog backs away shaking its head
in disgust.
The Christians claim that because a particular lion eats grass, they were all vegetarian at one point in time (before the sin). The name of that lion was Christian (coincidence?) and he indeed seemed like a friendly vegetarian lion (the videos are all over).

The same can be said of a dog that eats banana...

The question is if they prefer meat or banana, and whether they can live on vegetable stuff alone. Dogs love sweet potato. However they go crazy about meat, just as the Christians go crazy about the Bible.

And that's the wisdom of the jungle for now.
