Fewer people, more resources, less hate.

As simple as that.

It also prevents congested roads, thus having more space for bikes. Actually, the bike may be the best solution for congested cities. The problem is the Christians want more people and more cars.

Humanity can not survive like that.

Abortion is not a good option, as it has unhealthy side effects.
Try GENDERCIDE...

"For millions of couples, the answer is: abort the daughter, try for a son. In China and northern India more than 120 boys are being born for every 100 girls."

Why do people prefer boys? If we could answer this, then perhaps we could take steps to prevent gendercide.
Wakalukong
There are several reasons cited in the article. I think the one-child policy means well, but the law of unintended consequences takes over.
The other side of the coin is that low birth rates are a problem. Japan and Western Europe are aging fast. Actually the elderly control the political machine in America.
Solutions are complex.
I think any policy needs constant reviews as the problems arise. For example, giving a tax rebate or reward to families with girls only.

Gerontocracy is a worldwide problem as the medical advances and political power give the elderly power over younger generations. Here they tend to be pampered in order to get their vote.

Good thing there is a geezer lobby, because I just got my AARP card and
now I'm officially a geezer.
Yep, now we can expect the kids to fight back and form their own lobby. ;)

But the social security crisis may not explode for another generation. Sorry for them.

Oh well, they know how to dump money down the drain. As a matter of fact that's what they are doing in my community... "construction, destruction, corruption."

I thought the failure of Iraq would mean more money being spent WISELY at home. No, it doesn't work that way.

So what is the Monkey advocating--genocide of the elderly?
I advocate that we give them a large sum to be paid to their family when they decide to "take the jump."

Well no. That would be hard to sell but I'm sure many elderly wouldn't mind. We should simply remove their voting rights.

Mind you, they can still come here to the Internet and use their wisdom to teach something. That's what I do anyway.

We all know casting a vote goes to feed the "forces of evil," if not the corrupt officials. And let's face it, the elderly don't have a clue for the most part. They want "free stuff," if you know what I mean. Hey, the politicians really deliver that!

The UNwise elderly must be controlled somehow.

Well, I do not like sitting on my ass waiting to die. I'll like to keep riding bikes or at least a trike.

If my fate is to drive a little Toyota to the end of my life, I'd rather commit suicide.

here is to your wishes coming true
An older man or woman riding a bike will not only be healthier, he/she would make sure to live in a healthy community.
OK, we want the elders to be not only healthier but productive to their communities. We don't want them driving a car because they can be dangerous. And we don't want them voting.

We want them out of the cage enjoying life. Right, we don't them to live in fear of crime or traffic.

A human has the right to live a life that they want too, not have punk
make the rules for life. GROW UP LITTLE BOY!!!!
No, it doesn't work that way. The elderly adapt to the dangerous/crappy environment where they live and are afraid to go out.
OK, we can finally set up some guidelines as to who should take the jump and who shouldn't:

1- An old man who's unable to ride a bike or have sex is welcomed to take the jump.

2- An old man who otherwise uses his brain is exempt from jumping. That makes the Christians very welcomed to jump.

Those are the laws of nature: use it or lose it!

We don't need more corrupt voters and drivers. They are clogging the system.

Bicycling, walking... the two best ways to take advantage of our bipedal condition.

Well, the bicycle is much smarter because it takes advantage of the wheel, man's greatest invention.

Poor pedestrians, they rather commit suicide than walk to the supermarket in this heat. But we went out yesterday, had fun, and brought home a wonderful watermelon.

I'd say the ones that take buses, walk or ride a bike. The last two fear traffic more than any criminal.

What's decent about this group? Living in ignorance?

Well, I see some smart people around here. I want to share views and perhaps learn something.

We have much to teach the world. We don't want to be "retired." We may even teach how to do sex and ride bike for that matter.

However ISIS wasn't in their program and they are really afraid to lose control over the whole thing.

A general said the war in Afghanistan was being lost to corruption and I think the same goes for Iraq.

CORRUPTION IS THE ENEMY.
